Product Colors (ICK_IM09)

The Product Colors (ibis_ick.im09) view allows you to define the color or size codes that will be assigned to products in the Products (ici1.im13) table.

  • The structure of the product code defined in the Products (ibis_ici1) table allows for a meaningful six-character suffix to be added at the end of the product code to denote the color or size of the product.

  • The product code and the product color code must be separated by symbol, such as a dash '-'. To determine the color separator symbol used by your company, go to the color separator field in Company Control Initialization (CC00/Inventory Control.

  • An example of a product code with a product color code is: 1234-GREEN.

Products with the same product code, regardless of the product color code, are known as Common Products.
