Commmodity Restrictions (SU23)

The Commodity Restrictions folder in Maintain Product Restrictions (SU23) allows you to enter commodity restrictions for the Customer entered in the Header section.

  • Note: SU23 is used in conjunction with the Contract References (CM10) program. The flag that controls whether the restricted commodity(s) take effect in the E-Commerce module is set by selecting the 'Restricted Product Apply' check box on the Customer Accounts folder in CM10. The following list defines every field on the Commodity Restrictions folder:

  • Product Line - enter or select from the query a Product Line. Note: If an invalid Product Line is entered, the Commodity Product Lines query automatically opens.

  • List Box - once a product line is updated, it displays in the list box below the Product Line field. The list box includes the Product Line, Line Description, Product Group, Group Description and Customer Selectable information. You can recall a Product Line for maintenance by double clicking on the line.

  • Product Group - enter or select from the query a Product Group.

  • Customer Selectable - this check box is reserved for future use.

The following table outlines the functionality of each button on the Commodity Restrictions folder:

Update Update Saves the entered information for the current record.
Delete Delete Deletes the current record.
New New Clears the Customer and all fields on all folders.
