Session Parameters

The Session Parameters (meta_ums_session_parameters) page initially opens during the login process. You can also access this page by clicking on the Profile option on the main menu to open the Profile page, and then click on the Session Parameters related resource at the bottom of the Profile page.

The following list defines the fields on the session parameters page in alphabetical order:

  • Company – defaults to the company assigned in the iBIS Users (ibis_ibis_user) view for the user id currently logged into iTopia.

    Enter or select from the lookup another company code as required. This field is validated against the Company (ibis_ccc) table. (The Company table is based on records entered in Company Entry (ibis_CC95).)

  • Record Job Stream Group – enter a job stream group in this field. You can enter a new job stream group here and once the job stream is complete, the job screen group description in Job Stream Groups (JS01) defaults to the group name.

    The job stream recording process begins once you launch a program in PointForce iTopia. The job stream recording ends when you logout of the PointForce iTopia session. You can record one program or you can record multiple programs in the job stream.

    Note: If you are recording print programs, such as Inventory Stock Status Print (IC83) that contain various restrictions you may want to include the restriction selection in the recording as you may want to use the restrictions with variable response prompts in the future. Variable response prompts are controlled through Job Stream Program Groups and Responses (JS02).

  • Sales Office – defaults to the sales office assigned in the iBIS Users (ibis_ibis_user) view for the user currently logged into iTopia.

    Enter or select from the lookup another sales office code as required. This field is validated against the Sales Office/Warehouse Numbers (ibis_cc96) table.

  • Warehouse - defaults to the warehouse assigned in the iBIS Users (ibis_ibis_user) view for the user currently logged into iTopia.

    Enter or select from the lookup another warehouse code as required. This field is validated against the Sales Office/Warehouse Numbers (ibis_cc96) table.

When all of the information is entered correctly on the session parameters page, click Submit.
