Session Attributes
The Session Attributes resource (meta_md_session_att) is in the System Monitor module of iTopia. The Session Attributes table:
- Provides a vehicle for sharing attributes across applications within a session.
- Consists of a key-value pair for the purpose of tracking a session-specific attribute.
- For example, a session extension point exists that automatically executes a Java class whenever a users logs in or out of PointForce iTopia. When the user logs into the system, iTopia populates the session attributes table with one of the following session defaults:
- Client Mode
- Company
- iBIS Client
Note: You cannot maintain the entries in this table.
The following list defines every field available in the session attributes (md_session_att) table in alphabetical order:
- Attribute Value - the value associated with the attribute.
- Created By - displays the name of the user who created the record you are viewing or maintaining. May not be overridden.
- Created On - displays the date on which the record that you are creating or maintaining was created. May not be overridden. May also represent the creation date of the records you are attempting to retrieve.
- Key - the key for the attribute.
- Session ID - the unique identifier for a given session.
