Environments

The following list defines every field available in the environments (md_environment) table in alphabetical order:

• Active - the active flag. The following options are available: No and Yes (default).
  • A value of Yes indicates that the environment is active.

  • A value of No indicates that the environment is not active.

• Application Server Instances - the application server instances.

• Changes Made - this field is not maintainable. An expression column that indicates whether or not changes have been applied against the current entity.
  • When the field is personalized in the search results or the Details page, it shows the number of tracked changes that have been logged for a given record. It is linkable to the Tracked Changes Log view and provides a hover preview via the Tracked Changes Summary view.

• Created By - displays the name of the user who created the record you are viewing or maintaining. May not be overridden.

• Created On - displays the date on which the record that you are creating or maintaining was created. May not be overridden. May also represent the creation date of the records you are attempting to retrieve.

• Description - a description of the environment.

• Dispatcher URL - the URL used to access the Web user interface.

• Environment - this field is maintainable in creation mode only, when it appears in the key subview. The environment code defined for this environment.

• Environment Database Sets - this field is not maintainable. An expression column that includes a hyperlink to the Environment Database Sets view. Click the hyperlink to see the database sets of the environment.

• Environment Type - the type of environment. The following options are available:
  • Default (default) - indicates that it is a default environment.

  • Production - indicates that it is a production environment.

  • Master - indicates that it is a master environment.

  • Development - indicates that it is a development environment.

  • Training - indicates that it is a training environment.

  • Test - indicates that it is a test environment.

  • QA - indicates that it is a quality assurance environment.

  • Load Test - indicates that it is a load testing environment.

  • Gold - indicates that it is a gold environment.

  • Staging - indicates that it is a staging environment.

  • Demo - indicates that it is a demo environment.

• Extra Attributes - a CLOB-type field used to store additional JSON information.

• Is Clustered - a flag that indicates whether or not the environment is clustered. The following options are available:
  • No (default) - indicates that the environment is not clustered.

  • Yes - indicates that the environment is clustered.

• Modification Counter - this field is not maintainable. The date and time the record was last modified.

• Modified By - this field is not maintainable. The user or system process that last modified the record.

• Modified On - this field is not maintainable. The date on which the record was last modified.

• Owner - the owner of the environment.

• Sort Sequence - the sort sequence of this environment compared to the others.

• System Properties - the properties that can be set and that will define how the system works.

• Version - the version for the environment.
