Whse Relocate Stock (WH30)
The Whse Relocate Stock (WH30) program is used to relocate stock from one Bin Location to another for the currently selected warehouse.
Note: If your Operator ID is not assigned a multi-bin warehouse as the default (as defined in the Maintain Operator Password/Privilege (CC03) program) the Warehouse Selection dialogue panel displays when WH30 is initially opened otherwise the program automatically opens for your default warehouse. You can select an alternate warehouse in the Warehouse Selection panel. Note: Only warehouses configured as Multi-Bin through the Company Control Initialization (CC00)/Multi-Bin Warehouse Control program can be accessed in the Whse Relocate Stock (WH30) program. If you select a warehouse that is not setup in CC00\Multi-Bin Warehouse Control the message ‘Warehouse XX is not defined as a multi-bin warehouse in the CC00/WH folder. OK/Cancel’. Click ‘OK’ to close the message and select a different warehouse or click ‘Cancel’ to close the message and WH30. For more information about the Multi-Bin Warehouse Control click here.
Note: Once WH10 is open you can select an alternate warehouse through the Options menu.
Once WH30 is opened any products that were reported on the Suggested Putaway and Replenishment reports (Sug. Putaway and Replenishment (WH81)) are listed in the bottom section of WH30. Note: Any products reported on the Suggested Putaway report that did not indicate a suggested ‘To Bin/Loc’ will not display in this list box.
The Whse Relocate Stock panel consists of 3 sections.
The following list defines every field in every section of the Whse Relocate Stock panel.
- In the Relocate From section:
- In the Details section:
- Product - Enter, select from the Query or select from the ‘Relocate From’ list box the product to relocate.
- Manuf Lot - This field is only open is the product entered is Lot controlled by Manufacturer or by both Manufacturer and Product.
- If the product selected for the current ‘From Bin/Loc’ was not selected from the records listed in the ‘Relocate From’ list box, you will be required to manually enter the Manufacturer Lot. If you enter a Manufacturer’s Lot that does not exist for the entered product the message ‘No inventory exists for this Manufacturer’s Lot. OK’ displays. Click ‘OK’ to clear the message and enter a valid Manufacturer Lot.
- If you select a record from the ‘Relocate From’ list box the Manufacturer’s Lot is automatically displayed.
- Prod’n Lot - This field is only open is the product entered is Lot controlled by Production or by both Manufacturer and Product.
- If the product selected for the current ‘From Bin/Loc’ was not selected from the records listed in the ‘Relocate From’ list box, you will be required to manually enter the Production Lot. If you enter a Production Lot that does not exist for the entered product the message ‘No inventory exists for this Production Lot. OK’ displays. Click ‘OK’ to clear the message and enter a valid Production Lot.
- If you select a record from the ‘Relocate From’ list box the Production Lot is automatically displayed.
- Serial # - This field is only open is the product entered is Serial controlled .
- If the product selected for the current ‘From Bin/Loc’ was not selected from the records listed in the ‘Relocate From’ list box, you will be required to manually enter the Serial number. If you enter a Serial number that does not exist for the entered product the message ‘No inventory exists for this Serial Number. OK’ displays. Click ‘OK’ to clear the message and enter a valid Serial Number.
- If you select a record from the ‘Relocate From’ list box the Serial Number is automatically displayed.
- To Bin/Loc - Enter or select from the query the Bin Location that you want to relocate the product to. This field is automatically populated if you have selected a record from the ‘From Bin/Loc’ list box.
- If you use the query to select a Bin Location only Bin Locations that have activity are displayed. There can be many other bins setup for the current warehouse and you can manually enter any valid Bin Location.
- If you enter a lot that does not exist the message ‘Bin/Location not on file. Please use query to select available Bin/Location. OK’. Click ‘OK’ to clear the message and select a valid Bin/Location.
- Quantity
- This field is automatically populated with the quantity currently available for the selected Bin Location if you have selected a record from the ‘From Bin/Loc’ list box.
Note: The following message display if you enter an invalid quantity.
- If you enter a quantity that is less than zero or greater than the current available quantity the message ‘The quantity to relocate cannot be less than zero or greater than the quantity available: XXX.XX. Please re-enter. OK’. Click ‘OK’ to clear the message and re-enter a valid quantity.
- if you enter quantity of zero the message ‘Quantity to relocate must be greater than zero. OK’ displays. Click ‘OK’ to clear the message and re-enter a valid quantity.

Saves the information entered for the current record.

Deletes the current record and remove the record from the list box at the bottom of the panel. |

Clears all of the information in the ‘Relocate From’ and ‘Details’ sections of the Whse Relocate Stock panel. |
Update Inventory |

Update the inventory for all entries. When you select this button, the message ‘Do you wish to update inventory now? Yes/No’ displays. Click ‘Yes’ to continue the update and close WH30 or click ‘No’ to close the message and return to the WH30 panel.
Once the Update Inventory is complete records are written to the appropriate inventory files and assigned to the Adjustment Code ‘1’ (Bin/Location Transfer). When you execute the Print Stock Adjustments Report (IC51) the records updated in WH30 are reported.
