S6 - Customer/Product (SU45)

This folder displays Dollar and Unit Sales information represented in various Detail Levels.

  • Total - Summarizes all information on a single line for ALL products. This total is displayed as a single line of data, and all column headings represents the company totals up to the period number as selected in the Up To Period selector. This is the Default selection upon initial folder entry.
  • Product Line - Displays a single line per Product Line. All columns display the accumulated data up to the period selected in the Up To Period selector.
  • Product Group - Displays a single line per Product Group. All columns display the accumulated data up to the period selected in the Up To Period selector.
  • Product - Displays a single line per Product. All columns display the accumulated data up to the period selected in the Up To Period selector.

Up to Period

Select the fiscal period the data is to accumulate up to. The selections ONLY go up to the Current Sales Analysis Period as controlled via SA89. The Next Period or any future period is not accessible. The available range of Periods to select begins at the Current Period and roll down for 23 periods, for a total of 24 periods. The "Current" SA period is the Default period upon initial folder entry.

Print Button Print Button

Press the Print button to print the information that is displayed on the current screen only. I.e. If the current display only has 50 items loaded out of a potential 3500, only those 50 items currently loaded on the screen prints. The Detail Level and Up to Period settings prints in the heading of the report. For more detailed reporting run Customer/Product Sales Report(SA86).

Column Headings

  • Code & Description - Displays the Code and Description of the Detail Level selected. This column could represent Total Sales, Product Group Code & Product Group Description, Product Line Code & Product Code Description, or Product Code & Product Description.
  • Sales MTD - Displays the Month To Date dollar sales for the period selected in the Up To Period field.
  • GM% - Displays the calculated Gross Margin Percentage based on the current Month To Date Sales figures. The GM% uses the current Replacement Cost. If you not allowed to view costs, based on the Display Cost setting in CC03 (Mntn Operator Passwd/Privilege), this column is blank.
  • Sales YTD - Displays the Year To Date dollar sales for all periods in the current year including but not exceeding the period defined in the Up To Period selector. The year is based on the Fiscal Year as defined in Maintain Fiscal Dates(CC90), not the calendar year.
  • GM% - Displays the calculated Gross Margin Percentage based on the current Year To Date Sales figures. The GM% uses the Current Replacement Cost. If you have permission to view costs, based on the Display Cost setting in CC03 , this column is populated.
  • Sales NXMTD - Displays the Month To Date dollar sales for the "Next" period. "Next" is defined as the period following the selected Up To Period. If you the current period is period 11, but the Up To Period is defined as period 9, then the NXMTD period would be period 10.
  • Sales LYTD - Displays the Year To Date sales for last year for all periods last year including but not exceeding the period defined in the Up To Period selector. The year is based on the Fiscal Year as defined in Maintain Fiscal Dates(CC90), not the calendar year.
  • Sales LYT - Displays the Total dollar sales for last year. The year is based on the fiscal year as defined in Maintain Fiscal Dates(CC90), not the calendar year.
  • +/-% - Displays the calculated increase or decrease percentage based on Sales Month To Date compared with Sales Last Year Month To Date.
  • Units MTD - Displays the Month To Date Unit sales for the period selected in the Up To Period field.
  • Units YTD - Displays the Year To Date Unit sales for all periods in the current year including but not exceeding the period defined in the Up To Period selector. The year is based on the fiscal year as defined in Maintain Fiscal Dates(CC90), not the calendar year.
  • Units NXMTD - Displays the Month To Date Unit sales for the "Next" period. "Next" is defined as the period following the selected Up To Period. Therefore, if you are currently running live in period 11, but the Up To Period is defined as period 9, then the NXMTD period would be period 10.
  • Units LYTD - Displays the Year To Date Unit sales for last year for all periods last year including but not exceeding the period defined in the Up To Period selector.
  • Units LYT - Displays the Total Unit sales for last year.
  • +/-% - Displays the calculated increase or decrease percentage based on Units Month To Date compared with Units Last Year Month To Date.
