SU20 Header Record
The Maintain Customer Contacts (SU20) header record allows you to create the Customer/Contact record for which the Contact Info and/or Mailing List information is to be applied.
- SU20 is used to set up customer contacts are apply the contacts to Mailing Lists for use in the Maintain Customer Mailing List (SU21) program. Each contact is uniquely identified by the Customer code plus a contact code and each customer can be assigned multiple contacts.
- This combination is used by Enterprise when creating references between the contact record and various other systems such as SU21 and Maintain Customer Master (SU13) (when selecting a 'Contact to E-mail' for statements and invoices).
The following list defines every field in the Header section of SU20:
- Customer - enter or select from the query a valid Customer code. Once a Customer code is entered, the Customer Name displays to the right of the field. Note: If an invalid Customer code is entered the Customers query automatically opens.
- Contact - enter or select from the query an existing contact, or if you want to create a new contact for the current customer, then enter the contact's information on the Contact Info folder. The contact field is automatically updated with the information entered in the 'First' and 'Last' fields.

Deletes the contact and associated information on all folders. The following message automatically displays: "Are you sure you want to Delete contact: Contact Name. Yes/No." Select Yes to delete the current contact or select No to cancel the request. Note: If the contact for the current customer is in use anywhere in the system, the following message displays: "Contact being used for Customer Customer Name. OK". Select OK to clear the message and the contact will not be deleted. |
