General Info
Customer Type
Select a 1-character customer type code. Options are 0 to 9. This code becomes part of the key used to determine the GL control accounts for Sales, Cost of Sales and Inventory for all invoices processed through the Invoicing system.
For each invoice detail line, the GL control accounts are determined based upon the order's sales office, product's GL code and customer's Type code. These codes combine to point to the GL control accounts to be used, as defined via program CC00-IN2 Tab.
The customer type code is user-assigned with one exception. If defining a customer record for a warehouse or store location (used to process warehouse transfers), then the customer type code assigned must equal "9".
Language
Select the desired language code. The default is English. Customers in the database that require French order/invoice headings and product descriptions should be flagged as F. Each product master record must then have a French description line entered. This format is standard and may be changed to accommodate bilingual orders and invoices during the custom formatting of preprinted forms.
Mailing Label
Select this option in order to print mailing labels for this customer. This selection is used when printing mailing labels via program SU15. Labels print for all customers with this option selected .

Internet & Intranet Addresses
www
Enter a customer related web page from an external web server. Press the button to open the web browser and view the page.
Client Documents
Enter a file path to a customer related directory where files about this customer may exist on your network. Press the button to view the file.
Note that the format of the Document directory address shown is known as a UNC Path or Universal Naming Convention Path. While any valid directory path can be entered, UNC's are recommended, as they do not require the use of a mapped network drive volume that may differ from one workstation to the next. A UNC Path is constructed from the name of the server, the name of the share on that server and is followed by any additional subdirectories within the share. For example, \\Server\Share\SubDirectory1\SubDirectory2. WinSol does not attempt to validate the addresses provided in UNC type fields.
Intranet
Enter a contact related web page from an internal web server (Intranet) or from a web page stored on your regular server. Press the button to open the web browser and view the page.
If specifying an internal web server page then you can omit the leading "http://" and select the "Intranet http?" checkbox instead.
Select this option to include "http://" in front of the Intranet field contents.
Order Management Controls
Order Management Note: This section will only be available if Order Management is being used. If Order Management is not being used these fields will be grayed out.
The fields under the Order Management Controls section of the Info folder(2) are used to control how the Customer selection on an order will influence the priority of the order.
These factors are considered when the order that the customer is on is given Order Prioritization.
You may select High, Medium or Low as a Stock Allocation Priority. When you select the Apply Credit Limit Weight and Apply Delinquency Weight check boxes, the system will check to see if the customer is over the Credit Limit and/or Delinquent and apply the appropriate weight. When you deselect these check boxes, even if the customer is Over the Limit or Delinquent, the lowest value will be applied to the weight.
The Zone is the number of days that it takes to delivery an item as defined in the Zone/Whse folder of Maintain Support Tables (SU09). This is a mandatory field.
Note: If you change the Zone, a message will display on Update asking if you want to change the Zones on all the Unscheduled Orders.
If a Customer is a Paying Office and changes are made to the Paying Office's Order Management Controls (all except Zone), the message (upon update) below will display. By selecting "Yes" all Customers with the Paying Office will have the same OM Controls.
A warning message will also be displayed (upon change) if the OM Controls are changed for the Customer with a different Paying Office.
