Zones (SU09)

The Zone codes are used with Order Management. The number of delivery days between a Warehouse and a Zone is maintained in SU09/Warehouse/Zones. Customers are assigned to a Zone in Maintain Customer Master (SU13/Info). For each Sales Order the number of days it takes to deliver products to that customer from the shipping warehouse is identified and used in the calculation of the 'SO Required Ship Date' and 'SO Last Ship Date'.

Creating or Modifying Zone codes:

  1. Enter or select from the Query a code in the Zone field. This code can be a maximum of 8 characters in length. You may use an alpha-numeric combination.

  2. Enter a description of the Zone in the Zone Name field. The Name can be a maximum of 30 characters in length. You may use an alpha-numeric combination.

  3. Click Update to add this code to the system.

Deleting a Zone Code:

  1. Enter or select from the Query the appropriate Zone code.

  2. Click Delete to remove the code from the system.

    Note: If this code is in use by another program(s) in Enterprise, you may not be able to delete it. In this case, a message displays indicating the reason why the code cannot be deleted.
