The Dates folder is intended mainly to control estimates.
The list below defines every field on the Dates folder:
Estimate Date - Enter or select from the query the date that the estimate is issued. This field defaults to the current date from your server.
Customer P.O. Number - If a Customer P.O. Number is entered on the Dispatch folder of SE30 it is displayed in this field but can be changed. This field is mandatory if the Customer is set up to require P.O. numbers in Maintain Customer Master (SU13). The Direct Bill Invoice generated by the Invoice Listing and Creation (SE42) program will be assigned this Customer P.O. Number.
Estimate Completion Date - Enter or select from the query the estimated date that the service is to be completed.
Authorization Receive Date - Enter or select from the query the date that the Authorization to start the service call was issued.
Completion Date - Enter or select from the query the date that service call is completed. The date displayed is defaulted to the date in Maintain System Dates (CC30) on your Enterprise system.
Completion Time - Enter the Time the service call is completed. The time displayed defaults to current time on your server.
Type of Call - This field defaults to Call Type entered on the Dispatch folder of SE30 facilitate turning estimates into open service calls but can be changed. If you change this field the TAT code the message ‘The TAT codes for Parts Used will be changed from XXX to YYY. OK’. Once you click the OK button any products entered on the Parts folder are updated with the new TAT code and the Type of Call field on the Dispatch folder are with the new TAT code.

The Update button has no functionality for the Dates folder.
Delete
The Delete button has no functionality on the Dates folder.
New
The New button clears the current service call . You can enter a new service call or recall an existing service call.
New Record
The New button has no functionality on the Dates folder.
Dispatch Query
The Dispatch Query
button is used to locate a specific service call, or to dispatch calls without opening the call in SE30. The Dispatch Service Calls browser contains the following information and functionality:
A list box that contains the Customer, Technician, City, Type, Equipment, Status (if the service call has been dispatched ‘Disp’d’ displays in the column), Call Date and Time.
Undispatched - When this radio button is selected only un-dispatched calls display..
All Calls - When this radio button is selected all calls are displayed.
Sort by - Gives you the option to select one of multiple sort methods to review the open calls the list box though a drop list .
Displays Customer and Contact information for the selected service call.
Displays the details entered for the selected service call.
Select - The Select button opens the selected service call in the list box in SE30.
Dispatch Now - The Dispatch Now button sets the status of the selected service call in the list box to ‘dispatched’.
Note: Service Calls cannot be dispatched:
If the service call is an estimate.
If the service call with missing mandatory fields.
If the service call that have already been dispatched.
If the service call is closed.
If the service call is for a customer that is on a credit hold.
