Reasons (SE13)

The Reasons (SE13) program is used to maintain Reason codes used when entering labour charges in Enter Service Calls/Time(SE30).This reason is used to explain any miscellaneous time entry, such as car broke down, sick, etc. Reason codes are optional when entering time information in SE30 unless the Time Type selected is assigned to the 'WAR' TAT code.

The following describes every field on the Time Types panel:

• Reason Code - Enter or select from the query a reason code. You can enter a maximum of 2 characters. This is a mandatory field.

• Reason Description - Enter a maximum of 20 characters for the reason description. This is a mandatory field.

The following table outlines the functionality of each button on the Reasons panel:

Button Label	Icon	Functionality
Update		The Update button saves the information entered for the current record and clears all of the fields that do not contain defaults.
Delete		The Delete button deletes the current record.
New		The New button clears all of the fields that do not contain defaults without updating the current record.
