The Time Types (SE12) program is used to define different types of labour charges. A Time Type code must be entered for each labour line entered in Enter Service Calls (SE30)/Time.

The following describes every field on the Time Types panel:

- Time Type - Enter or select from the query a time type code. You can enter a maximum of 3 characters. This is a mandatory field.
The Time Type controls the Product Code and T.A.T. code that will be used on the invoice generated by the Invoice Listing and Creation (SE42) program.

  - Time Type Description - Enter a maximum of 20 characters for the time type description. This is a mandatory field.
