Desc/Contents (PS09)

The Desc/Content panel in Maintain Packing Station Tables (PS09) allows you to define commonly used 'Content Description(s)' for Shipments. The items entered here are applied to Shipments in Shipping Entry (PS41/Ship). For example, a frequently used Desc/Content is 'Fragile-Table Ware'. In PS41/Ship, you apply this code to all Table Ware Shipments.

Using Desc/Contents:

1. Enter a code in the Desc/Contents field. This code can be a maximum of 30 characters in length. You may use an alpha-numeric combination.

2. Click Update to add this code to the system.

3. To add another code, click New and repeat the steps 1 and 2.

4. To delete an existing Desc/Contents code, enter or select from the query the code to be deleted, and then click Delete.

   Warning: To edit an existing code, you must delete the code using the Delete button and re-enter the code as a new code.

Note: Creating Desc/Content codes is optional. You can key the Desc/Content directly in PS41.
