Count Sheet Method (PI11)
The Count Sheet Method folder in Physical Inventory Page Total (PI11) is used by the Sheet Full and Sheet Partial count methods only.
When Count Sheets are printed, the page numbers by Count Area are retained. The list box is automatically filled with the page numbers generated by Inventory Count Sheet Printing (PI08).
Note: If some of your Count Sheets are not printed via PI08, you still need to record those Count Sheet page numbers in PI11. If the page numbers are not recorded in PI11, Physical Count Entry (PI12) will reject the page number when the Operator tries to enter the Count Sheet page.
The following list defines every field on the Count Sheet Method folder:
- The Count Area is defined in the header section. For more information, click here.
- Page Number - enter the page number as set and printed by PI08 or the page number of the Count Sheet prepared external to the system.
- Page Total - as Count Sheets are returned for entry, a total of the units counted on each Count Sheet page is manually calculated and then entered into this field.
- The Area List Box displays the information entered for the Count Area in PI08. Simply double click on each line in the list box and then update the 'Count Total' field.
- Once you click Verify Totals, the 'Qty Counted' field in the list box displays the totals entered in PI12 for each page. If the 'Count Total' and the PI12 totals do not match, an 'Out of Balance' warning displays at the end of the line.
The following table outlines the functionality of each button on PI11:

Verify Totals |
|

An 'Out of Balance' condition triggers a double-check to confirm that all count quantities were entered correctly and/or that the manual total is correct. |
