Troubleshooting OE04

Here are a number of common issues:

  • OE04 will not update
    There are a couple of reasons why OE04 will not update:
    • The Reference Price List must be in the same currency as the Master Price List.
    • The entries made in the Order Value fields (Level 1, Level 2, etc.) must be in ascending order.

  • A customer has 'US' as their Master Price List (SU13) and OE04 is set up with 'Canadian' as the Master Price List; the customer has products with the same Item Status as OE04. What happens?
    The customer will not be considered by OE04 in this scenario. Because the customer's Master Price List does not match the criteria set by OE04, the program disregards the customer.

  • In IM18, the Reference Price List has a Start Date set to a future date. OE04 is set to use this Reference Price List now. Will OE04 still work?
    OE04 does not look at the dates in IM18. As long as the Reference Price List exists, OE04 will work as defined in the examples listed in Setting Up & Using OE04.

  • In IM18, the Reference Price List is set for Sample orders only. OE04 is set up to use this Reference Price List AND it is set for Regular orders. Will OE04 still work?
    OE04 does not look at the restrictions set up in IM18. As long as the Reference Price List exists, OE04 will work as defined in the examples listed in Setting Up & Using OE04.
