PointForce 7.4 iTopia Hardware & Software Requirements

This document covers the minimum requirements running base modules only (up to 25 users).

The specifications are for the following version of PointForce Enterprise/iTopia:

PointForce Enterprise version 7.4 with iTopia 9.7

Server Configuration

Single Server Deployment (Dedicated):

PointForce Enterprise/iTopia SQL Server	OS/Software
Intel 6 Core Xeon @ 2.4 GHz (or faster) Minimum 32 GB of memory SAS RAID Controller with 256 MB of Cache (or more) 15k RPM SAS Hard Drives RAID 1 or 10 – Minimum array of 600 GB 10/100/1000 Network Card (can be on-board) Recommended: Redundant Power Supply 1500 VA UPS	Microsoft Windows 2016 – 1 CAL per user Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2017 Enterprise or Standard – 1 CAL per user Must be ProvideX PXPLUS2019 (16.x)

Multiple Server Deployment (Dedicated):

Note: It is recommended that the SQL Server and PointForce are installed on the same physical server. It can be on separate virtual machines but should be on the same physical server. If they are on 2 physical servers make sure the servers have 10 gigabyte network cards and are connected on a 10-gigabyte network.

Backup:

Minimum of 5 x 1TB USB 3.0 External hard drives
Open File Solution Backup Software - Recommended Backup Assist (Recommendation by ATS)

** Please note that these are minimum requirements only and will change if client has more than 25 users and/or running add-on modules such as E-commerce, Pack Station, etc.

***As of October 2019, iTopia has not been tested with Windows Server 2019. Please check with the iTopia team before using Windows Server 2019 with iTopia.
