Warehouse Management (WM) Typical Cycles

Maintenance:

  1. WMS Adjustment Mappings (WM02)
    • Map PointForce Enterprise's (PFE) inventory adjustment codes from Inventory Adjustment Entry (IC50) to the Warehouse Management's (WMS) adjustment codes.

  2. Carrier Account Numbers (SU01)
    • Map the PFE carrier account codes to the WMS carrier service codes.

Download/Upload Files:

  1. WMS Inventory (WM10)
    • Creates a file of product information as maintained in Products (ibis_ici1.im13) for transfer to Elite WMS.

  2. WMS Receiving Verification Print (WM26)
    • Reports the quantities received by Elite WMS and not yet received in PFE.

Daily Operations:

  1. WMS Orders & PO's Unlocking (WM27)
    • Unlock locked orders in PFE.

  2. WMS Data Transfer Servers (WM32)
    • Transfers data from PFE to Elite WMS.
    • Should be running during regular operations.

  3. WMS Upload Transaction Processors (WM33)
    • Transfers data from Elite WMS to PFE.
    • Should be running during regular operations.

  4. WMS Upload Error Query (WM45)
    • Displays errors that occurred while processing upload with WM33.

Stock Counts:

  1. WMS Stock Count Print (WM28)
    • Reports variances between inventory quantities between Elite WMS & PFE.

  2. WMS Stock Adjustment Print (WM29)
    • Same as IC51 Stock Adjustments Report.
    • Used to correct the GL posting date.
