CRM Activity Type
The CRM Activity Type view maintains the Activity Types that are applied to Activities in the Account Activity, Case Activity and Lead Activity views.
Note: The ability to create and update information in the CRM Activity Type view is controlled by the permissions (create, read, update and delete) assigned to the resource within the role. This help topic assumes that you have the appropriate permissions to create and update records in the CRM Activity Type view. For more information, see Role Master-Permissions. |
You can edit the CRM Activity Type information in either the Search Criteria/Results Grid page, in the grid section, or on the Details page
The following fields are available on the CRM Activity Type and are based on the order in which they appear in the grid on the search page:
- Company - every record in the PointForce iTopia SQL database includes the Company Number. When reviewing the results from your search, the Company Number will display for all CRM Activity Type records. This field cannot be edited.
- Type - displays a short description for the Type of Activity. This field cannot be edited.
- Activity Type Description - displays the full description of the CRM Activity Type. You can edit this field as required.
- Activity Type Icon - displays an icon that relates to the Activity Type. There is no functionality attached to the icon; icons are available for display purposes only.Note: This field is optional. You can create and maintain these records without an Activity Type Icon. For more information about the location and size of the Activity Type Icon click here.
