The Customer Attributes Table page allows you to create, modify and delete Customer Attribute Tables. An Attribute is similar to a User Defined Field (UD01) from the PointForce Enterprise system.

• Attributes created in the Customer Attribute Table view can be applied to every Customer in iTopia using the Customer Master (SU13)/Customer Attributes (SU13) page. For more information on the Customer Attributes (SU13) view, click here.

You have the option of assigning pre-defined values to each Attribute, as required. Use the Customer Attribute Values view to assign pre-set values to Attribute Tables. For more information on Customer Attribute Values, click here.

The following fields are available on the Customer Attributes Table page:

• Company Number - displays the Company Number associated with the Attribute record.

• Attribute - displays the Attribute name.

• Description - displays a Description of the Attribute. You can edit this field by double clicking on the Description field you want to change or by selecting the Update Field or Edit with Excel options from the Use Selected Record as Criteria for Action or Use Record as Criteria for Action. The Description can be a maximum of 32 alpha-numeric characters in length.

• Attribute Type - displays the Type of Attribute assigned to the customer attribute record. You cannot edit this field. If you want to change the Attribute Type, you must delete the current record and create a new record. Note: You cannot delete a record that is currently in use anywhere else in the system.
  • Valid Attribute Types include:
    • A - Alphanumeric
    • D - Date
    • F - Flag
    • I - Integer
    • N - Number

Customer Attributes Table - Details Page

The following list defines every field in the Details page:

• In the Main Context section, the Company Number, Attribute and Attribute Type information display as reference information for the detail record you are viewing.

• Description - displays the Description of the Attribute. You can edit the Description information in this field. The Description can be a maximum of 32 alpha numeric characters in length. You can edit this field as required.

• Date/Time Created - displays the date and time at which the record was created.

• Creator - displays the user id of the user logged into the system when the record was created.

• Last Change - displays the date and time at which the record was last updated.

• Modifier - displays the user id of the user logged into the system when this record was last updated.
