Session - Attribute
The Session-Attribute is a table (meta_md_session_att) in the System Monitor module of iTopia. The Session-Attribute table:
- Provides a vehicle for sharing attributes across applications within a session.
- Consists of a 'key-value pair' for the purpose of tracking a session-specific attribute.
- For example, a session extension point exists that automatically executes a Java class whenever a users logs in or out of PointForce iTopia. When the user logs into the system, iTopia populates the Session–Attribute table with the following session defaults:
- client mode
- company
- ibis client
Note: You cannot maintain the entries in this table.
The following fields are available on the Session-Application view and are based on the order in which they appear in the grid on the search page:
- User Name - displays the user name of the user currently logged into iTopia.
- Session ID - displays the unique identifier for the session ID.
- Key - displays the key for the Attribute.
- Attribute Value - displays the value associated with the Attribute.
- First Name - displays users first name.
- Last Name - displays the users last name.
- Client IP Address - displays the client's IP address.

When you click on the Session-Attribute Details icon for a specific record on the Session-Attribute Search/Criteria Grid page, the Session-Attribute Detail page opens for that record.
The following list defines every field on the Details page:
- Attribute Value - displays the attribute’s value.
- User Name - displays the user name of the user currently logged into iTopia.
- First Name - displays users first name.
- Last Name - displays the users last name.
