Invoice History Diagnostics (IN71)

The Invoice History Diagnostics (IN71) program validates and corrects system records in the Invoice Header and Detail History files. The run-time for IN71 depends on the size of the Invoice History master file (i.e., the more history kept on-line, the longer this program takes to complete).

Tip: IN71 can be run anytime, however you should typically run IN71 once per month.

The Print Invoice History Diagnostics (IN72) program reports all abnormal conditions once the Invoice History Diagnostics program is completed.

1. To initiate the Invoice History Diagnostic, click Start . Once started, the diagnostics can safely be stopped at any time by pressing Escape (Esc) or by clicking Cancel (on the progress bar) without affecting integrity of the data.

2. The IN71 window identifies:
   • Date the Diagnostic was Last Run

   • Status (of last diagnostic)

3. When IN71 is complete, the following message displays: "Job has completed successfully. OK".

4. Once IN71 is complete, run IN72 to print the results of the diagnostic.
