RMA Reasons (IN66)
The Maintain RMA Reason Codes (IN66) program maintains the Reason codes used for Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs). A Reason code is assigned to each detail line of an RMA in Return Merchandise Authorization (IN67). These codes are printed on:
- RMA Receiving Document Print (IN69)
- Print Outstanding RMA Report (IN68)
- Display RMAs (IN46)
The following list defines the fields on IN65:
- Reason Code - enter or select from the query a Reason code for an RMA. The Reason code can be a maximum of 3 alpha numeric characters in length. An example of a Reason code is DEF - Defective Merchandise.
- Description - enter a Description for the Reason code. The description can be a maximum of 25 alpha numeric characters in length.

Deletes the Reason Code Caution: The delete functionality does not require you to confirm the delete request. When you click Delete, the record is instantaneously deleted. Note: If a Reason Code is deleted, but is assigned to an RMA, the Reason Code will not be removed from the RMA but the description will no longer display beside the Reason field. |
Clear |
|
Clears all of the fields allowing you to enter a new Reason Code or recall an existing Reason Code. |
