Maintain RMA Status Codes (IN65)
The Maintain RMA Status Codes (IN65) program maintains the Status codes used for Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs). A Status code is assigned to each detail line of an RMA in Return Merchandise Authorization (IN67). These codes are printed on:
- RMA Receiving Document Print (IN69)
- Print Outstanding RMA Report (IN68)
- Display RMAs (IN46)
You can modify the Status code during the lifespan of an RMA as the status changes. This is critical if you are using the RMA system to track items returned for repair or service.
The following list defines the fields on IN65:
- Status Code - enter or select from the query a Status code for an RMA. The Status code can be a maximum of 3 alpha numeric characters in length. An example of a Status code is QA - Requires QA in Warehouse.
- Description - enter a Description for the Status code. The description can be a maximum of 25 alpha numeric characters in length.

Deletes the Status Code Caution: The delete functionality does not require you to confirm the delete request. When you click Delete, the record is instantaneously deleted. Note: If a Status is deleted, but is assigned to an RMA, the Status will not be removed from the RMA but the description will no longer display beside the Status field. |

Clears all of the fields allowing you to enter a new Status Code or recall an existing Status Code. |
