The Color/Size Code is a code that indicates a color or size. This code is used with the Product Code:

  • The Color/Size Code is a six character code that is defined in IM09 and is assigned to products in Maintain Inventory Master (IM13).

  • The structure of the Product Code allows for a meaningful six-character suffix to be added at the end of the Product Code to denote color or size of the product.

  • The Product Code and the Color/Size Code must be separated by symbol, such as a dash
'-'. To determine the Color Separator symbol used by your company, go to CC00/Inventory Control, Color Separator field. (Note: You cannot edit this field in CC00, it is for display purposes only.)

  • An example of a Product Code with Color/Size Code is: 1234-GREEN.

Products with the same Product Code, regardless of the Color/Size Code, are known as Common Products.
