Special Features (IM09)

Special Features are defined in IM09 and are assigned to products in Maintain Inventory Master (IM13). You may stock various products that have special features such as a products with 'bells and whistles'; with this code, you can easily identify all products with bells and whistles.

1. Enter a code in the Special Features field. This code can be a maximum of 10 characters in length. You may use an alpha-numeric combination.

2. Enter a description of the Special Feature in the Description field. The description can be a maximum of 30 characters in length.

3. Click Submit add this code to the system.

Note: This is an optional code. You may decide not to use this feature.

The following table outlines the functionality of each button on the Special Feature folder:

Button Label	Icon	Functionality
Submit		Saves the information entered for the current special feature.
Delete		Deletes the current special feature. Note: You cannot delete a special feature if the code is assigned to a product in IM13.
Clear		All fields on this folder clear and you can begin adding a new special feature record.
