Season Codes (IM09)

Season Codes are defined in IM09 and are assigned to products in Maintain Inventory Master (IM13). You may stock various products that are available for a specific season, such as Spring; with this code, you can easily identify all Spring products. This code also allows you to define the start and end dates of the season. You can set the system up to display a warning message in Order Entry (OE30) when products from different seasons are on the same Sales Order (the message is a warning only, you can still process the Sales Order).

1. Enter a code in the Season Code field. This code can be a maximum of 10 characters in length. You may use an alpha-numeric combination.

2. Enter a description of the Season Code in the Description field. The description can be a maximum of 30 characters in length.

3. Enter a Start Date by clicking on the Query icon and selecting the appropriate year, month and day.

4. Enter an End Date by clicking on the Query icon and selecting the appropriate year, month and day.

5. Click Submit to add this code to the system.

Note: This is an optional code. You may decide not to use this feature.

Button Label	Icon	Functionality
Submit		Saves the information entered for the current season code.
Delete		Deletes the current season code. Note: You cannot delete a season code if the code is assigned to a product in IM13.
Clear		All fields on this folder clear and you can begin adding a new season code record.
