Mark Up Category Codes (IM09)

Mark Up Category Codes are defined in IM09 and are assigned to products in Maintain Inventory Master (IM13). Mark Up Category Codes are used to select products in Recalculate Selling Prices (IM28).

1. Enter a code in the Mark Up Category Code field. This code can be a maximum of 3 characters in length. You may use an alpha-numeric combination.

2. Enter a description of the Mark Up Category Code in the Description field. The description can be a maximum of 25 characters in length.

3. Click Submit to add this code to the system.

Note: This is an optional code. You may decide not to use this feature.

The following table outlines the functionality of each button on the Mark Up Category Codes folder:

Button Label	Icon	Functionality
Submit		Saves the information entered for the current mark up category code.
Delete		Deletes the current mark up category code. Note: You cannot delete a mark up category code if the code is assigned to a product in IM13.
Clear		All fields on this folder clear and you can begin adding a new mark up category code record.
