Licensed Names (IM09)

Licensed Names are defined in IM09 and are assigned to products in Maintain Inventory Master (IM13). You may stock various products with a licensed name like Warner Brothers or Disney; with this code, you can easily identify all Warner Brother or Disney products.

1. Enter a code in the Licensed Name field. This code can be a maximum of 10 characters in length. You may use an alpha-numeric combination.

2. Enter a description of the Licensed Name Code in the Description field. The description can be a maximum of 30 characters in length.

3. Click Submit to add this code to the system.

Note: This is an optional code. You may decide not to use this feature.

The following table outlines the functionality of each button on the Licensed Names folder:

Button Label	Icon	Functionality
Submit		Saves the information entered for the current licensed name.
Delete		Deletes the current licensed name. Note: You cannot delete a licensed name if the code is assigned to a product in IM13.
Clear		All fields on this folder clear and you can begin adding a new licensed name record.
