Developers (IM09)

Developers are defined in IM09 and are assigned to products in Maintain Inventory Master (IM13). You may stock various products that were created by specific Developers; with this code, you can easily identify all products created by each Developer.

  1. Enter a code in the Developer field. This code can be a maximum of 10 characters in length. You may use an alpha-numeric combination.

  2. Enter a description of the Developer in the Description field. The description can be a maximum of 30 characters in length.

  3. Enter up to 3 E-mail addresses for the Developer in the E-mail Address fields.

  4. Click Submit to add this code to the system.

Note: This is an optional code. You may decide not to use this feature.

The following table outlines the functionality of each button on the Developer folder:

Button Label Icon Functionality
Submit Submit Saves the information entered for the current developer code.
Delete Delete Deletes the current developer code.
Note: You cannot delete a developer code if the code is assigned to a product in IM13.
Clear Clear All fields on this folder clear and you can begin adding a new developer code record.
