Product Price List Restrictions (ICPLR.IM18)
The Product Price List Restrictions (ibis_icplr.im18) view is allows you to restrict or limit when a price list is used. For example, if you select order source as the restriction and enter a value of telephone, then only telephone orders received by the customers associated with the price list will receive the particular pricing from the price list.
- Price list restrictions can be applied to contract, special and flyer price list types.
- You cannot assign restrictions to common quote or master price lists.
The following list defines every field available in the product price list by restriction (icplr) table in alphabetical order:
- Class of Trade - this field is available when the restriction type is set to 4 - Class of Trade. Enter or select from the lookup a class of trade code. This field is validated against the Class of Trade (ibis_sac) table.
- Company - the company field is available when you create a new restriction for a price list. The company defaults to the company assigned to your user id in the Session Parameters view. You can change the default company during the price list restriction creation process only. Once the price list restriction record is created, the company to which the record is associated displays in the General section (at the top of the view).
- Country - the country field works with the state/province field. When the restriction type is set to 3 - Province or State, the country field becomes available. Enter or select from the lookup a country code. This field is validated against the Countries (ibis_cccou) table.
- Note: Once the country code is entered, the state/province lookup is filtered by country and only state or province codes associated with the country entered are available for selection.
- Created By - displays the name of the user who created the record you are viewing or maintaining. May not be overridden.
- Created On - displays the date on which the record that you are creating or maintaining was created. May not be overridden. May also represent the creation date of the records you are attempting to retrieve.
- Description - displays the description associated with the restriction type entered. For example, if the restriction type entered is territory and the territory code selected is W (West), then West displays in the description field.
- Line No. - the line number is a system maintained field that increments by one every time a new record is added to this table. You cannot edit this field. Once the price list restriction record is created, the line number displays in the General section (at the top of the view).
- Modification Counter - this field is not maintainable. The date and time the record was last modified.
- Modified By
- this field is not maintainable. The user or system process that last modified the record.
- Modified On - this field is not maintainable. The date on which the record was last modified.
- Order Source - this field is available when the restriction type is set to 7 - Order Source. Enter or select from the lookup an order source code. This field is validated against the Invoice Source (ibis_insc.in04) table.
- Order Type - this field is available when the restriction type is set to 8 - Order Type. Enter or select from the drop list an order type. Valid options include:
- Price List - enter or select from the look up a price list code. This field is validated against the Product Price Lists (ibis_icpl.im18) table. Once the record is saved, you cannot edit this field. The price list assigned to the price list restriction record displays in the General section (at the top of the view).
- Price List Type - enter or select from the lookup a price list. This field is validated against the Contract, Special and Flyer Price Lists (ibis_icpl.restrictions) resource. Once the record is saved, you cannot edit this field. The price list type assigned to the price list restriction record displays in the General section (at the top of the view).
- Restriction Type - enter or select from the lookup the type of restriction you want to assign to the current price list. This field is validated against the Price List Restrictions by Price List Type (ibis_imrestyp) table. The following list defines the restrictions available and the price list types to which each restriction applies:

- Sales Group - this field is available when the restriction type is set to 6 - Sales Group. Enter or select from the lookup a sales group code. This field is validated against the Sales Groups (ibis_sas) table.
- Sales Rep - this field is available when the restriction type is set to 1 - Sales Representative. Enter or select from the lookup a sales rep code. This field is validated against the Sales Representatives (ibis_sar) table.
- Sls Off/Whse - this field is available when the restriction type is set to 2 - Sales Office. Enter or select from the lookup a sales office/warehouse code. This field is validated against the Sales Office/Warehouse Numbers (ibis_sab_cc96) table.
- State/Province - this field is available when the restriction type is set to 3 - Province or State. Enter or select from the lookup a province or state code. This field is validated against the States and Provinces (ibis_cccoustapro) table.
- Note: The state/province field works with the country field. Once the country code is entered, the state/province lookup is filtered by country and only state or province codes associated with the country entered are available for selection.
- Territory - this field is available when the restriction type is set to 5 - Territory. Enter or select from the lookup a territory code. This field is validated against the Territories (ibis_sat) table.
- Value - displays the code associated with the restriction type entered. For example, if the restriction type entered is territory and the territory code selected is W (West), then W displays in the value field.
