I3 - Future Orders (IC45)

Folder I3 - Future Orders

The folder displays all the future orders for this product and indicates if they are in the Far future or near future.

Required Date ( YYYYMMMDD)

Enter the required date in this format to jump to that date on the list of invoices.

Order Look-up Button

While reviewing Future Orders for the current Product; to examine the source of a record, select it from the list and then press the Order Look-up button. The program will automatically open the Display Orders (OE45) program and retrieve the record.

Pre-allocate Button

If the stock has been pre- allocated for this future order an "A" appears beside the Future Qty and the pre- allocation button is activated. Click on the pre- allocate button to see details.

Note:
Status " F" means near future because the required date is between the number of days for future orders ( CC00) and number of days lead time for the supplier plus the number of days for future order.

Status "f" means the order is in the Far future since the required date is after the lead time for the supplier plus the number of days for future orders .

For example, CRYSTL supplier has a lead time of 5 days and the CC00 setting for Number of days for a future order is set to 7 days so order required 8 to 12 days from today are status F, orders required 13 or more days from today are status f.
