Process Standard Journals/Allocations

• Processing Standard Journals

  When maintaining the Standard Journals within the GL system, the following programs must be run in the following order:

  GL21 Print Standard Journals
  (Validate that the postings are accurate for the period about to be processed.)

  GL20 Maintain 'Clearing' Journals & make corrections to 'Reccurring' Journals as required

  GL80 Post Standard Journals
  

  Remember that this process can only take place once per period. The processing of Standard Journals (GL80) program only allows the posting once per period.

• Processing Standard Allocations

  Since Standard Allocations can sometimes be based on balances that have been updated by Standard Journal entries, we recommend that you run the Standard Allocations after Standard Journals have been processed.

  When maintaining the Standard Allocation within the GL system, the following programs must be run in the following order:

  GL25 Maintain Standard Allocations
  GL26 Print Standard Allocations
  GL82 Post Standard Allocations
