(EC) Catalogue Publisher - Overview

Publishing your Inventory is one of the primary functions of your web site. The EC Catalogue Publisher is a flexible suite of programs used to create a system of presenting your Inventory to your customers.

You can use the Catalogue Publisher group of programs to:

Create and design the display classifications or categories for your products (EC10).
Arrange relationships between the categories (EC11).
Assign your products to categories (EC13).
Add additional descriptors (ie. images, text, or multi-media files) to your products (EC13).
Create 'family' or 'complement' relationships between products (EC13).
Collect words and generate the index to be used by the e-Commerce Search Engine (EC71).
