Menu System Entry (EC09)

The Menu Systems (EC09) program groups individual Menu Functions into Menu Systems for both security and navigation purposes.

• EC09 builds the menu bar(s) across the top of the e-Commerce web site.

• EC09 gives menu system access to users, known as "contacts", through the Maintain Contact Profile (CM02) and/or Contact References (CM10) programs.

• A Menu System record determines the sort order in which a system is displayed and also includes a master active flag.

• Menu Systems can be created with support for multiple languages, and if the contact's current language is not set up on the system, the site's primary language will be substituted in its place. If you want to create a Menu System record for another language besides the primary, you can create the record, and then you can mark it as inactive and that it requires translation, as required.
