Crystal Report Groups
The Crystal Report Groups window is used to create groups that are used to group Crystal Report Files together. Each group is given a two character identifier and a group name that is displayed on the Crystal report tree on the Crystal Report (CR01) window. These IDs will be used as either parents or children as you build your report tree on the Crystal Reports Tree panel.
The following list defines every field on the Crystal Reports Groups window:
- Group ID - enter or select from the query a Group ID. You can enter a maximum of two alpha numeric characters in this field. An asterisk automatically precedes the Group Id. Note: We strongly recommend that you define a Group ID of "00" as the base of the report tree since this is the lowest key available to the system. You can then keep building your report tree from there.
- Group Title - enter a name or title for the group. You can enter up to a maximum of 127 alpha numeric characters in this field.
To close this window, click the ‘X’ in the upper right corner.
