The Contact References (CM10) program allows you to maintain the extended attributes required to properly configure your existing contacts with access to your PointForce e-Commerce website. The following 5 folders are available in CM10 allowing you to perform the following functions:

  1. User Name - this folder allows you to create a user name and password (optional) for each contact. You also have the option to assign a Contact Profile (created in CM02) to each contact, allowing the contact to 'inherit' the properties of the Contact Profile. Login security is also available on this folder.

  2. Systems - this folder allows you to grant access to various e-Commerce systems including the Admin Desk, Current Cart and Account Statement to each contact.

  3. Customer Accounts - this folder allows you to assign a customer account (or multiple accounts) to each contact. The details associated with each account establish whether the contact is a 'shopper', 'approver' or 'administrator' on the e-Commerce website.

  4. Mailing Lists - this folder allows you to assign each contact to various mailing lists maintained in this module.

  5. Seach Indexes - this folder allows you to assign a Search Index to each contact. The Search Index determines the content of the product pages on the website.
