Countries (CCCOU)
The Countries (ibis_cccou) view defines the country codes used by PointForce iTopia. The country code forms the basis of a relationship between duty rates (defined in P/O Purchasing Tables (PO09/Duty Rates)) and a supplier (defined in P/O Suppliers (PO11)).
- As receiving is processed, the country code assigned to the supplier and the duty rate code associated with the product combine to extract the appropriate duty rate to be applied in the calculation of landed cost.
The following list defines every field available in the countries (ibis_cccou) table in alphabetical order:
- Company - the company field is available when you create a new country record. The company defaults to the company assigned to your user id in the Session Parameters view. You can change the default company during the country creation process only. Once the country record is created, the company to which the record is associated displays in the General section (at the top of the view).
- Country - enter a code for the country to a maximum of 2 alpha-numeric characters. Once the record is created, you cannot modify this field.
- Note: The country code is a standard published by the International Standards Association (ISO 3166-1) that defines codes for countries.
- Created By - displays the name of the user who created the record you are viewing or maintaining. May not be overridden.
- Created On - displays the date on which the record that you are creating or maintaining was created. May not be overridden. May also represent the creation date of the records you are attempting to retrieve.
- Is Available - a flag indicating whether or not this country code is available for display when a look up is done against the countries table. Valid options are Yes and No (default).
- Modification Counter - this field is not maintainable. The date and time the record was last modified.
- Modified By - this field is not maintainable. The user or system process that last modified the record.
- Modified On - this field is not maintainable. The date on which the record was last modified.
- Overridden Description - enter an override to the country's description. The overridden description can be a maximum of 32 alpha numeric characters in length. This is a required field.
