Maintain Event (CC05)
The Maintain Event (CC05) program defines the events that determine how the Event Processor (CC33) program handles events once they are detected.
The following list defines every field on CC05:
- Event - enter or select from the query an Event. You can enter a maximum of 32 alpha numeric characters in this field. Events are related to the running of the e-Commerce web site. There are currently 15 system defined events:
- Cart Approve Checkout
- Cart Approve Decline
- Cart Approve Request
- Cart Checkout
- Cart Delete
- Cart Invoice Generated
- Cart New
- Cart Order Generated
- EC Login
- EC Login Failed
- EC Login Failed Password
- EC Logoff
- Post.XML Login
- Post.XML Login Failed Password
- Post.XML MCXD Login Failed
Note: The three XML related events (the last three in the list above) are for the purpose of custom third party XML web services integration only.
- Description - enter a description of the event to a maximum of 64 alpha numeric characters.
- Appears in Contact Manager Drop Box - select this check box to have the current event display in the 'Event' drop box in Web Contacts (EC30/Events).
- Active - this field is for use by Tecsys staff only. When this check box is selected, the occurrences of the current event are processed by CC33. When this check box is not selected, the occurrences are ignored.
- Note: This check box should be selected otherwise events will be written to the events file and will remain in the file, never being purged. If the Active flag is set, and there are many events in the file, they will all be processed by CC33.
- Perform Event Program - when this check box is selected, CC33 performs the event program when it encounters an occurrence of the event.
- Event Program - enter the name of the program that CC33 performs to process an occurrence of the current event.
- Auto Delete of Event when this check box is selected, CC33 automatically deletes the occurrence of the current event once it is processed. When this check box is selected, there is no need to purge the event in Purge Events (CC70).
- Days Until Eligible for Delete - enter the number of days before CC70 will delete the event if the 'Auto Delete of Event' flag is set for the current event. Note: The number of days begins from date the events was created.
