Sales Analysis (CC00)
The CC00/Sales Analysis folder initializes the Sales Analysis module within Enterprise. The Fiscal Periods are defined and the method for updating Model and Set sales is determined at this time.
The following list defines the field on the Sales Analysis folder:
- Delete Sales by Flyer Pricing Records When Price List Deleted – when this check box is selected, in Product Price Lists (ibis_icplp.im18) when you delete a price list, a product on a price list or the commodity pricing for a product, the flyer sales history records will be deleted from the Flyer Sales History table (SAFS).
When this check box is not selected, flyer sales history records will remain when a price list, a product on a price list or the commodity pricing for a product is deleted.
The following button is available on the Sales Analysis folder:
- Fiscal Periods - this button facilitates the use and set up of the new fiscal periods reference file. This set up is required by the conversion pass program to identify the fiscal periods of previous years so the pass program can build the appropriate product related sales files within the appropriate fiscal periods.
- The Sales Analysis Fiscal Periods screen opens automatically. A Fiscal Period year entry must be created for each year that sales/invoice history exists, prior to the current year. If your version of Enterprise has custom changes that allow the storage of sales history beyond the last fiscal year, those "extra" years will also require a fiscal period year entry. The Fiscal Year field is used to identify/title the previous fiscal year(s). Each Ending Date must be input for the appropriate year.
- The periods to be entered are only those prior to the current fiscal year as defined in Fiscal Date Entry (ibis_cc90). Although this program is not used to identify the current fiscal periods, it will allow entry into the current fiscal year. Just remember that for the current fiscal year the CC90 dates are used to build the data.
- When the initialization program is executed, it will reference both the CC90 fiscal dates for the "Current" year and then the information from this Sales Analysis Fiscal Periods screen for all the previous years. If the dates are not maintained for periods for which sales/invoice history exist, then the pass program will automatically open this screen and request input of the correct fiscal periods. You should then work with your Business Consultant to identify the correct fiscal dates.
Note: Once the initialization program is executed, it becomes extremely difficult to reverse. ENSURE THESE DATES ARE ACCURATE!
