Evolve e-Scan Options (CC00)

The Evolve/e-Scan Options folder is only available if the e-Scan option module is active. This folder defines the parameters that affect the e-Scan add-on of e-Commerce. The e-Scan option is designed to be used on a tablet with a scanner. The tablet displays a modified version of the e-Commerce website.

• e-Scan enables sales reps to scan in orders at trade shows or in show rooms for existing customers. Sales or house reps are also able to create new customers directly in the e-Commerce website and take their orders at the same time.

• e-Scan is only available in PointForce Enterprise (PFE) version 6.3 and higher.

The following list defines every field on the e-Scan Options folder:

• HP ePrint Email – enter the email address for the printer that is HP ePrint enabled. THis is an optional field.

• In the e-Scan Web Registration Settings section:
  • Order Source Override – the order source used for orders generated for shopping carts created via e-Scan. This field is validated against the Maintain Sales Source Codes (IN04) table.

  • Email notification – enter the email address to which notifications are sent for new accounts created via e-Scan.
