A/P Creditor Classes (AP07)
The A/P Creditor Classes (AP07) program manages a table of Creditor Class codes and their associated description. Creditor Classes support the analysis of liability among creditor types. Some examples of creditor classification include domestic versus foreign Vendors, or inventory versus service Vendors. Creditor Classes are defined in AP07 and are assigned to each Vendor in A/P Vendors (AP13). The Aged Trial Balance (AP83) can be printed in Creditor Class sequence, allowing the liability to be analyzed by creditor type.
The following list defines every field in AP07:
- Class Code - a 2 character code that identifies each Creditor Class. Creditor Class codes are assigned to Vendors in AP13.
- Description - a 20 character description of the Creditor Class. The description displays on the Creditor Class query.
