Server Configuration for PFE 7.3

This document is designed for use with the following versions of PointForce Enterprise (PFE) and PointForce iTopia:

  • PFE version 7.3
  • iTopia 9.6

The following chart outlines the operating systems on which PFE 7.3 runs and the versions of third party software that are compatible:

Minimum Client PC Requirements

Personal computers must use one of the following operating systems with the specified amount of memory installed to access the PointForce iTopia environment:

  • Microsoft Windows 7 (Professional Edition, Ultimate Edition and Enterprise Edition; both 32 and 64-bit versions) with 1.5 gigabytes of memory installed (3 gigabytes or more preferred).

  • Microsoft Windows 8.1 (Professional and Enterprise Edition; both 32 and 64-bit versions) with 2 gigabytes of memory (4 gigabytes or more preferred).

  • Microsoft Windows 10 (Professional and Enterprise Edition; both 32 and 64-bit versions) with 4 gigabytes of memory (8 gigabytes or more preferred).

Screen Resolution

For personal computers, the minimum recommended screen resolution is 1440 x 900 pixels. A screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels or higher is preferred.

Operating System/Web Browser Requirements

Compatibility requirement documents have been created for the following OS/Internet browser configurations:

  1. Windows 7/8.1/10 with Chrome 65 (and higher)

  2. Windows 7/10 with Internet Explorer 11.0

  3. Windows 10 with Edge 38 (and higher)

Export to Excel/Edit with Excel Requirements

To use the Export to Excel and Edit with Excel features, the following software needs to be installed on a client PC.

  • Micorsoft Excel (32-bit) 2010 or higher.
  • The TECSYS Excel Add-in must be installed.
