Troubleshooting the Freight folder (PS41)

Here are a number of common issues:

  • The Freight folder is unavailable.
    The Freight folder is unavailable until a Freight amount is entered on the Ship folder. The Freight amount can be entered manually or automatically via TMS.

  • All of the fields on the Freight folder are unavailable or 'greyed out'.
    When there is only one Sales Order associated with a Shipment, all of the fields on the Freight folder are unavailable. The Freight is automatically applied to the only Sales Order in the Shipment.

  • Every time I try to leave the Freight folder I get a message that the Freight is not balanced.
    If the Total Freight does not equal the Entered Freight, then the Freight is not balanced and you cannot leave this folder. Simply allocate all of the Freight to the appropriate Sales Orders, and when the Proof field is zero, you can leave this folder.
