Troubleshooting the Review folder

Here are a number of common issues:

  • I can't close the Pack
    • Is there a Sales Order associated with the Pack that has not been packed? If so, you must delete the Sales Order from the Packing Number before you can close the pack.
    • Are there any Issues with a description of "Bin/Lot/Serial modifications required"? If so, you must open the Commit Lots and Serial Numbers screen (double click on the detail line and then click Bin/Lot/Serial button on the Carton Details folder to open the Commit screen) and balance the quantity committed with the Pack Quantity.   • The Close button isn't available
    • The Close button is grey (unavailable) only when a Pack has been created, but nothing has been packed. You must pack an item(s) into the Packing Number before Packing Station will allow you to Close the Pack.
    • If the Packing Number was created in error, you may delete it following the steps outlined in Deleting a Packing Number.

  • An empty Carton shows on the Review folder, is this OK?
    Yes, you can close a Pack that includes an empty Carton. You can re-use the unpacked Carton ID in another Packing Session.

  • The message "This Order has been Pre-Authorized. No changes are permitted" displays when I Close a pack on the Review folder. What does it mean?
    This warning message displays when you click Close and the following conditions are met:
    • The pack contains Order(s) that have both Payment Methods set to EFT payment types, AND
    • These EFT payments are pre-authorized, AND
    • Additional products are added to the pack on the Carton Details folder that were not on the original order OR were not originally on back order.

    This message is only a warning and the Shipping process is not affected. Back ordered products that were scanned and packed on Carton Details folder will not be invoiced and will remain on back order. The Products that were scanned and packed, but were not on the original order, are ignored and will not be added to the order.

    The packer should:

    • Remove the product from the pack and ship the pack without the additional products OR
    • Delete the entire pack and return the order for modification.
