The CRM Campaign Type view maintains the Campaign Types that are applied to campaigns created in the CRM Campaign view.

  • The relationship built between the CRM Campaign and CRM Campaign Type view is automatically carried forward.

  • For example, the CRM Campaign code is assigned to a Customer/Prospect in the Account Campaign view or to a Lead in the Lead Campaign view.

  • The Campaign Type that is associated with the CRM Campaign code automatically displays in the Account Campaign and Lead Campaign views.

Note: The ability to create and update information in the CRM Campaign Type view is controlled by the permissions (create, read, update and delete) assigned to the resource within the role. This help topic assumes that you have the appropriate permissions to create and update records in the CRM Campaign Type view. For more information, see Role Master-Permissions.

You can the CRM Campaign Type information in either the Search Criteria/Grid page, in the grid section, or on the Details page.

The following fields are available on the CRM Campaign Type and are based on the order in which they appear in the grid on the search page:

  • Company - every record in the PointForce iTopia SQL database includes the Company Number. When reviewing the results from your search, the Company Number will display for all CRM Campaign Type records. This field cannot be edited.

  • CRM Campaign Type - displays a short description for the Campaign Type. This field cannot be edited.

  • Campaign Type Description - displays the full description of the CRM Campaign Type. This field can be a maximum of 128 alpha numeric characters in length. You can edit this field as required.
