Shopping Cart Inquiry (EC45)

The Shopping Cart Inquiry (EC45) program is a 'display' version of existing shopping carts. Shopping carts are created on the e-Commerce web site or via e-Scan (as applicable) and can be viewed in EC45.

The following list defines the fields on EC45:

  • Customer – enter or select from the query the customer code for which you want to review existing shopping carts. This field is validated against the Customer Master (SU13) table.

  • Contact – enter or select from the query the contact for which you want to review existing shopping carts. This field is validated against the contacts entered in Web Contacts (EC30).

  • Approver – enter or select from the query the approver associated with the existing shopping carts you want to view. This field is validated against contacts entered in EC30. When you enter an approver, the shopping cart, from date, to date, and time fields are disabled.

  • Shopping Cart – enter or select from the query the shopping cart for which you want to view details. You must enter a minimum of 12 digits in this field.

    • When you enter a shopping cart, the customer, contact and approver fields automatically display (if applicable). The from date, to date, and time fields are disabled.

  • From Date – enter or select from the query the date from which you want to view shopping carts. This field is only available when the customer or contact field is populated.

    • When the from date is entered, the adjacent time field and the opened, updated and closed radio buttons are enabled.

  • To Date – enter or select from the query the date to which you want to view shopping carts. This field is only available when a from date is entered.

    • When the to date is entered, the adjacent time field is enabled.

  • Opened – when selected, only open shopping carts for the criteria entered display in the list box. This field is only available when the from date field is populated.

  • Updated – when selected, only updated shopping carts for the criteria entered display in the list box. This field is only available when the from date field is populated.

  • Closed – when selected, only closed shopping carts display in the list box for the criteria entered. This field is only available when the from date field is populated.

  • List box – the list box displays shopping carts that meet the search criteria entered in the field(s) above. The list includes the following information as applicable for the shopping cart:

    • Opened – the date on which the cart was opened.
    • Time – the time at which the cart was opened.
    • Cart Number
    • Open – Y indicates the cart has not been checked out; N indicates the cart has been checked out; and A indicates the cart is awaiting approval.
    • Posted – posted or not posted.
    • Approval Status – not required, waiting or approved.

    • Contact
    • Approver
    • Order – the sales order number associated with the cart.
    • Invoice – the invoice number for the order once IN43 is complete.
    • Updated – the date on which the cart was last updated. This only changes if the product(s) are manipulated on the cart.
    • Time – the time at which the cart was last updated. This changes only if the product(s) are manipulated on the cart.
    • Closed – the date on which the cart was checked out.
    • Time – the time at which the cart was checked out.
    • Total – the total extended dollar value of the cart.

    Note: Any lines displayed in the list box in blue indicate that the cart was submitted as a web registration (new customer) request (via e-Scan).

    Additional functionality for the list box:

    • Double clicking on a line that has had an order generated opens Display Orders (OE45).

    • Double clicking on a line for which the order has been invoiced (i.e. IN43 has been completed) opens Display Invoices from History (IN45).

    • Double clicking on a line for which the sales order has been deleted results in the following message: "Sales Order related to cart xxxxxxxxxxxx has been deleted. OK".

    • Double clicking on a line for which the cart has not been through the cart checkout process results in the following message: "There are no Sales Orders or Invoices related to cart xxxxxxxxxxx. This cart is still open. Sales order records are not generated until after the card has been fully checked out. OK".

    • Double clicking on a line for which the cart has been through the cart checkout process, but no sales order or invoice has been generated results in the following message: "There are no Sales Orders or Invoices related to cart xxxxxxxxxxx. OK".

  • Cart Comments – when you highlight a shopping cart from the list box, if the cart has comments, the comments display here. This field is for display purposes only and cannot be edited.

  • Cart Items – this section contains the details of the items on the shopping cart. Specifically, the following information is displayed:

    • Line (on the shopping cart)
    • Product
    • Description
    • Quantity
    • Unit Price
    • Per
    • Extension

On the menu bar, there is a Filters menu item. The following filter options are found under the Filters menu:

  • Closed Carts Only – displays all closed carts for the criteria entered regardless of the date the cart was closed if the from date/time and to date/time fields are blank.

  • Open Carts Only – displays all opened carts for the criteria entered regardless of the date the cart was opened if the from date/time and to date/time fields are blank.

  • Closed Registering Carts – displays all carts assigned to new customers registering via e-Scan regardless of the date the cart was opened if the from date/time and to date/time fields are blank.

  • Closed with Sales Order – displays all closed carts with sales orders for the criteria entered regardless of the date the cart was closed if the from date/time and to date/time are blank.

  • Closed without Sales Order – displays all closed carts without sales orders for the criteria entered regardless of the date the cart was closed if the from date/time and to date/time are blank.
