Additional Information
Advanced Attributes

The Header section of EC09 allows you to define the Menu System to which details, such as a display name or image, multiple languages and menu function items will be added. This topic also includes a definition of the buttons in the Footer section.

The following list defines all of the fields available in the Header section of EC09:

  • EC System - enter or select from the query an EC System (or menu system). You can enter a maximum of 32 alpha numeric characters in this field.

  • Description - enter a description of the menu system. You can enter a maximum of 64 alpha numeric characters in this field.

  • Active - select this check box to allow the menu to be published on the web site.

  • Public - when this check box is selected, the menu is visible in 'public' mode, i.e. the menu system is available to all users whether or not the system is assigned to the user in Maintain Contact Profile (CM02) or Contact References (CM10). For example, the following menu is available to all users, whether or not they are logged into the web site:

  • Display When Private - when this check box is selected, the menu is only available to users when the menu system is assigned to their contact directly in CM10/Systems or when the menu system is assigned to a profile in CM02, which is then assigned to their contact in CM10/User Name. In this case, the menu system is only available to users who have logged into the web site. Here is an example of a menu that is available only to users when they are logged into the web site:

  • Display Sort - this field is used for ordering the menu systems on the web site. For the menu system(s) flagged as 'Public', enter '1' or '1.x'. For menu system(s) flagged as 'Private', enter '2', '3', etc.
