Database Upgrade

The Database Upgrade is a table (meta_md_db_upgrade) in the System Monitor module of iTopia. This view is used to review the upgrades to your iTopia environment.

The following fields are available on the Database Upgrade view and are based on the order in which they appear in the grid on the search page:

  • Database Name - displays the name of the database to which the upgrade was applied.

  • Major - a sequence number displays in the column if the upgrade was considered a major adjustment to the iTopia environment.

  • Minor - a sequence number displays in the column if the upgrade was considered a minor adjustment to the iTopia environment.

  • Custom - a sequence number displays in the column if a custom upgrade was applied to the iTopia environment.

  • Date/Time Created - display the date and time at which the upgrade occurred.

  • Comment Text - displays the iTopia version that the upgrade was applied to and a brief description of the upgrade.

Database Upgrade Details Page

When you click on the Database Upgrade Details icon Detail for a specific record on the Database Upgrade Search/Criteria Grid page, the Database Upgrade Detail page opens for that record.

The following list defines every field on the Details page:

  • In the Main Context section:

    • Database Name - displays the name of the database to which the upgrade was applied.

    • Major - a sequence number displays if the upgrade was considered a major adjustment to the iTopia environment.

    • Minor - a sequence number displays if the upgrade was considered a minor adjustment to the iTopia environment.

    • Custom - a sequence number displays if a custom upgrade was applied to the iTopia environment.
