Customer Attribute Values (SUCAAV_SU09)

The Customer Attribute Values (ibis_sucaav) view allows you to define values for customer attributes created in the Customer Attributes Table (ibis_sucaa), as required.

  • Note: Attribute values are optional. The attribute value can be added directly to the attribute once the attribute is assigned to the customer in the Customer Attributes (SU13) (ibis_suca.su13) view.

Note: The ability to create and update information in Customer Attribute Values is controlled by the permissions (create, read, update and delete) assigned to the resource within the role. This help topic assumes that you have the appropriate permissions to create and update records in Customer Attribute Values. For more information, see Role Master-Permissions.

The following list defines every field available in the customer attribute values (sucaav) table in alphabetical order:

  • Attribute - enter or select from the look up an attribute. This field is validated against the Customer Attributes Table (ibis_sucaa) table.

  • Attribute Value - enter a value for the attribute. The value can be a maximum of 100 alpha numeric characters.

    • Attribute values can be assigned to attributes with an attribute type of alphanumeric. (The type is assigned to the attribute in the Customer Attributes Table.)

    • You can enter multiple values for an attribute by creating multiple attribute/attribute value records.

    • Note: Attribute value records are not required for attributes. If the attribute has no attribute value record associated with it, then the value is entered directly on the Customer Attributes (ibis_suca) view.

  • Company - the company field is available when you create a new customer attribute value record. The company defaults to the company assigned to your user id in the Session Parameters view. You can change the default company during the customer attribute value creation process only. Once the attribute value record is created, the company to which the record is associated displays in the General section (at the top of the view).

  • Created By - displays the name of the user who created the record you are viewing or maintaining. May not be overridden.

  • Created On - displays the date on which the record that you are creating or maintaining was created. May not be overridden. May also represent the creation date of the records you are attempting to retrieve.

  • Description - enter a description of the attribute. The description can be a maximum of 32 alpha numeric characters in length.

  • Modification Counter - this field is not maintainable. The date and time the record was last modified.

  • Modified By - this field is not maintainable. The user or system process that last modified the record.

  • Modified On - this field is not maintainable. The date on which the record was last modified.
